The Aeotec Nano Shutter enables you to control a selection of devices wirelessly. The module equips motors for shutters, shades garage doors, venetian blinds, etc. with Z-Wave technology. Thus, these can be controlled both wirelessly and via Z-Wave commands locally via the connected wall switch.

Once installed, you can control Nano Shutter via any connected switch and via Z-Wave through your gateway, remote control, and smart phone applications.

Installation Made Easy

Nano Shutter connects to your home’s existing motor controlled accessories. It does so simply, and it immediately makes those accessories available for control, automation and scheduling via Z-Wave.

Nano Shutter can be wired to connect directly to the motor itself. It can be wired to any existing wall switch that controls the motor. Also, it can be connected in seconds to WallSwipe, allowing you to further enhance Nano Shutter to have touch and gesture control.

For any motor that controls access points, such as gates and security shutters, Z-Wave S2 is crucial. It enhances Nano Shutter with next-generation ant-hacking features which also includes AES-128 bit encryption and ECDH key exchange.

Smaller and Better

Crafted to be simple to install, Nano Switch has also been made to easy to install. At only 1.7”x 0.8”, it’s 60% smaller than Micro Motor controller; thus it’s even easier to install in behind motor switches.

The latest version of Z-wave allows Nano Shutter to control connected accessories with a 250% faster response time and a 67% greater wireless range that is up to 150 metres / 492 feet wide.
