Zipabox Backup expansion module keeps your Zipabox Smart Home Controller up and running during a power outage; or other power or network disruptions. The expansion module is a rechargeable battery; that provides up to 24 hours of uninterruptible power supply to the Zipabox main unit. It also includes USB port for connecting 3G USB stick for backup internet connection; so you never lose connection with the cloud. It also comes with built-in tamper sensor; which will detect shocks and vibrations and alert you when the module is tampered with.
